BEL Prep Academy is a unique learning institution.
BEL Prep Academy was birthed out of our founder Bishop Kevin Williams’ need to provide a safe educational space for his daughter. This vision was actualized into the evolutionary process that is BEL Prep Academy today, where students are nurtured by a team committed to the love of the art of teaching and who have a heart for teaching. Our founder, Bishop Kevin Williams sees education and the charge of educating our future leaders as the most important mandate next to the ministry and teaching the principles of Jesus Christ. It is this core understanding which has made BEL Prep Academy a learning institution in which every child is seen and treated as our child a reality today.
Our education system does not teach children how to pass life and educate in the areas of ownership. It doesn’t teach us how to empower ourselves and future generations. This restrictive system does not give teachers the freedom to meet students at their needs because of a tendency to teach for the purposes of meeting the requirements for standardized testing and to become part of the workforce.
As a team we are able to visualize the end result of the BEL Prep dream, a safe structure that promotes individuality and allows children to explore and develop their God given mandate, to create and have dominion. Through cultivation and guidance of the entrepreneurial spirit, students are able to embrace being fruitful, multiplying, and replenishing. In doing so they will attain dominion over all endeavors as these are the four tenets of business and the scripture which they will come to live by. As educators our job is to mold this reality, providing students with the educational road map to get our people, this generation, and the generations to come to where they need to be.
The BEL Prep team has embraced the need for providing students with an entrepreneurial based education which in turn will impart crucial life skills thus enhancing their ability to work in the real world. It is also our mission to fill existing opportunity gaps where learning sparks purpose by infusing educational exploration of business, entrepreneurship, leadership and christian principles as part of our core curricula.
