Enrollment Guidelines

A skills evaluation test is required for all grade levels. BEL Prep reserves the right to evaluate academic aptitude and behavioral readiness.

• Students  are accepted from varying academic backgrounds and with varying academic aptitudes. Perspective students must demonstrate an ability and willingness to comply with all school policies and guidelines.
• All educational partners ( Parents/ Guardian) will be subject to an interview by our administrative team where they will furnish their reasons for having an interest in joining the BEL Prep family and show agreement to our moral and ethical guidelines by becoming signatory to our school’s student policy, handbook, and moral standards.
• All parents must attend new parent orientation.
• In support of their child’s enrichment, parents are required to attend a minimum of two workshops per year.
• Parents are encouraged/ required to volunteer at BEL Prep 40 hours per academic school year or provide equivalent donations ($5/hr or academic supplies)
• Parents and students must adhere to the policies as printed in the parent/ student handbook.

At BEL Prep Academy in order to  increase opportunities for students to access and have success in  education financial tools are necessary. Funding is made available through  bursaries, sponsors, the Lady Jordan Lend a Hand student fund, and governmental scholarships.

On July 1, 2021, new legislation went into effect that consolidated the number of scholarship programs by rolling the Gardiner Scholarship and McKay Scholarship into the Family Empowerment Scholarship for students with Unique Abilities.
